Oceania Pride Organisers is an association incorporated in NSW for Pride and Pride-like organisations.
It works to advance the Pride movement across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to advance the Pride movement in Australia and neighbouring Oceania countries by celebrating and promoting the visibility and inclusion of diverse SOGIESC communities.
We are committed to implementing policies, programs, and advocacy initiatives that reduce disadvantage and discrimination, striving for legal, social, and cultural equity.
Through educational and community events, collaboration with like-minded organisations, and active engagement at national and international levels, we will work towards fostering human rights, supporting marginalised communities, and creating positive societal change.
MEMBERSHIP
Our Full Membership is open to any Pride Organiser that:
has produced a Pride event– operates in the manner of a non-governmental organisation (NGO)
is led by and for people of diverse Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expressions and Sex Characteristics (SOGIESC); and
ensures any profits from operations benefit SOGIESC communities

– is led by and for people of diverse Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expressions and Sex Characteristics (SOGIESC); and
– ensures any profits from operations benefit SOGIESC communities -
Our Associate Membership is open to any Pride-Like Organisation that:
– aspires to produce a Pride event but is unable to do so due to factors such as prohibition against public assembly, politically hostile environments, lack of funding, or organisational capacity
– is a legal entity, although the committee has the discretion to accept the membership of an organisation not meeting this requirement.

Our membership fees are scaled according to your annual turnover.
